Yachting Experience

A good surveyor needs to have a tremendous breadth of knowledge of boats, equipment and the various related technologies but will also be determined enough to doggedly and systematically determine all that is wrong with a vessel. Time at sea and experience in difficult conditions also gives insight into what is seaworthy and safe.

David has had a passion for boat design and construction from a young age. He has raced extensively and cruised thousands of miles in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Arctic oceans. He currently owns an aluminum 45 foot centerboard sloop which he has sailed across the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
